Happy Easter to you all!

I have been enjoying spending time this week and over Easter with a visiting friend – so much so that I forgot I had reduced the price of “Oriental Dance: Discovering the Art of Belly Dancing” for the Amazon Kindle.

I originally reduced the price so that members of my email newsletter list could grab the most recent edition for just $4.99. The price was supposed to go back up last Thursday but it slipped my mind, so I thought I would use it as an opportunity to let blog readers get a copy at the reduced price too.

I first released “Oriental Dance: Discovering the Art of Belly Dancing” as a .pdf ebook over 5 years ago. Since that time, both the book and technology have developed further. The most recent edition of the book contains a bonus chapter on the props of Belly Dance and 18 beautiful illustrations.

The 2012 edition of the book has already been released to the Apple iBookstore, Barnes and Noble, Kobo and Sony stores but these take a little longer to update.

Anyway, I’ve featured Kai’s music on the blog before with Howl and Here She Comes. As a belly dancer herself, Kai produces music that has a great belly dance influence and vibe and often features belly dancing in her videos and live performances. Shine was written for a short film called The Hidden Sister and features her own belly dance teacher Sera Solstice as a Spirit Dancer:
