Song/Video: Kai Altair – Here She Comes

Thanks to Kai Altair for contacting me through the blog to tell me about her new music video “Here She Comes.”

Kai is a singer and Belly Dancer (as you will see in the video), and she tells me she dedicates this song to Isis and all the women dancers of the world. This is taken from Kai’s debut EP “Star of the Sea“.

I love Kai’s sound both in this song and in Mamma Ocean, which you can download now from Amazon or Rhapsody.

I asked Kai to tell us a little bit more about herself. She wrote:

“I have been singing all my life, and studied opera in college.  I have always loved dancing, but did not take up bellydancing until a couple of years ago.  I currently study with the AMAZING Sera Solstice (www.boldbellydance.com) a few times a week, and have absolutely fallen in love with with bellydancing (especially’s Sera’s East Cost Tribal style) for LIFE.  I feel that it has come very naturally to me, and that it is unlocking secrets from my body, and possibly past lives.  I dedicated the song “Here She Comes” to the goddess Isis, and hope to empower more women to shimmy!!!”
